Jayco Owners Club – Hunter Region is now 11 years old. In 2011Michael & Diane Baxter returned to Newcastle from QLD to be close to family. The one thing they both missed was their monthly ‘getaway’ in their Jayco. With the support of the team at Jayco Newcastle, Hexham they canvassed expressions of interest in the formation of a Jayco Owners Club from people attending the Caravan Show at Newcastle Showground in February 2012. The response was overwhelming, and on Tuesday 6th March, the inaugural meeting was held at Jayco Newcastle – Hexham and the club was formed, our first rally was at Budgewoi on 25th March 2012. Since its inception the club has continued to grow, friendships have formed and we have now all become “A Jayco Family”
If you enjoy caravanning, good company, great times, relaxing, BBQ’s, fishing, the odd meal and a yarn around the campfire, a snooze in the sun, why not join the Jayco Owners Club – Hunter Region Inc…
The rallies are within a 200klm approx. or 2-3hr drive from Hexham.
Companionship: The opportunity to meet people, talk caravanning and other interesting things and foster friendships.
Adventure: Visit new caravan parks, bush camping, tourist attractions and do things you might otherwise not have embarked upon.
Use of Your Jayco: Encourages additional use of your Jayco ensuring you don’t have an idle asset.
Rallies: Join in any of the varied rallies.
Breakdown Help: Peace of mind knowing that members are near.
Experience Sharing: Gain an invaluable insight into caravanning and Jayco experiences.
Van Improvement: Talk to others and exchange ideas on improving and modifying your van.
Van Ownership: A member must own a Jayco recreational vehicle, and attend one rally prior to membership being accepted.
Rally Rates: All attendees at rallies are required to pay for all site fees and charges by the caravan park for the duration of the stay. If possible the club negotiates reasonable site fees with the parks booked.
Introductory Rally: Prospective members need to attend one weekend rally before applying for membership.
